Mt. Stuart AreaMt. Stuart is the largest non-volcanic peak in the Pacific Northwest. Located North of I-90, West of Blewett Pass and South of Leavenworth, it occupies a central prominance in a remote area. Trips can vary from an intense non-technical scramble, to climbing on interesting rock which varies ffrom clean and solid to crumbling and loose. Any trip to this area can be long and climbers should be prepared to bivy due to a myriad of reasons - plus it's a lot of fun too!! |
