The Trailhead Welcome to Alpine Adventures! Contained within these pages will be all sorts of information regarding my exploits into the mountains of the Pacific Northwest and lessons learned along the way. In the Stories section, I try to write a narrative in an attempt to capture what I see and feel, for those trips that leave a lasting impression upon me. In addition, I enjoy photographing the scenery and people with whom I hike, snowshoe and climb. In my Image Gallery, I have hundreds of photos, loosely categorized by general destination. I frequently add to this section shortly after each trip, so be sure to look at "The Trailhead", to the right, to see the newest additions.I'm continually searching the web for interesting sites that contain useful information on climbing, gear, weather, techniques and more. As I find them, I'll include them in my Links section, so check there often. In the Forum section, is a large compilation of various topics and information, from Snowshoeing to Knots to Training. This could be a good place to start if you are considering a climb of Mt. Rainier. I always welcome constructive comments and suggestions on any topic contained here (or those you would like to see) as I learn and build upon this web site. Thanks for visiting! Now, get outdoors, have fun, and remember . . . climb safely!! Brian Click Alpine Adventures below for more information about me and my talented web developer. |
