Granite Mtn
 Flaming colors of autumn. |
 Storm clouds gather along the colorful ridgline. |
 In a few hours, the suns rays are replaced with snow flurries. |
 On the summit, the temperature drops and snow begins to accumulate. |
 Fall becomes winter, and the sun fights to return. |
 Even with a covering of snow, the autum color still struggles to show. |
 Trees gently covered in a topping of snow. |
 As I descend from the top, the temperature rises and snows begin to melt. |
 Autumn hues cover the ground like colorful blanket. |
 The sun beams ignite the leaves in brilliant color. |
 Deep reds, oranges, greens and gray create a symphony of color. |
 The storm is beaten today, as the sunshine melts the clouds. |
 Fall colors emerge from the cover of summer. |
 At the top of the hill, the lookout can be seen, marking the summit of Granite Mtn. |
 At a switchback in the trail, I find views of Kaleetan, Chair and Snoqualmie. |
