Mount Rainier National Park offers some of the most varied and exciting trips one could ask for. From simple day hikes around the Paradise Visitor Center, to trips leading to the Columbia Crest summit. Any season is the right season to visit MRNP. Mt. Rainier National Park is the focus and starting point of literally hundreds of hiking and climbing opportunities. No matter what time of year or what season, visiting the Park is always worth the drive. In this section, I list only those trips that occur around Mt. Rainier National Park and not to the summit.
