Alpine Adventures

Columns of basalt, rising over 100 feet straight up, offer some of the most interesting bolted and trad climbing routes around. Difficulties for every ability exist along most of the major sections of this cliff band cut out from the Columbia River. Very hot in the summer, but wonderfully pleasant spring and fall climbing is available only 2.5 hours away.
